The working principle of the carbonization machine is mainly to burn the material through the gasification furnace to produce flue gas. After the flue gas purification system filters out the wood tar smoke and other gas impurities, the flue gas is transmitted to the carbonization machine for combustion. When a certain temperature is reached, the material to be carbonized is added to the carbonization machine. Since the carbonization machine is almost a closed space, the material will not burn into ash but only into charcoal at a high temperature of 800 degrees inside the carbonization machine after adjusting the speed of the conveying device inside the carbonization machine. This process involves thermal decomposition under high temperature and oxygen-free (or low oxygen) conditions, which is similar to pyrolysis.

Pyrolysis treatment can usually be pided into two processes: slow pyrolysis and fast pyrolysis. Slow pyrolysis refers to the process at a relatively low temperature, which can completely decompose the raw materials into their components, and the products are mainly solid charcoal, extractable oil and gas. The carbonization machine does involve a process similar to slow pyrolysis during the carbonization process, that is, the material is thermally decomposed at a certain temperature and oxygen-deficient or oxygen-free conditions to produce products such as charcoal.
However, it should be noted that the principle of the carbonization machine is not limited to slow pyrolysis. It also includes multiple links such as flue gas purification, heat recycling, material transportation and cooling. In addition, the design and operating parameters of the carbonization machine (such as temperature, time, reactor design, etc.) will also affect the quality and properties of the final product.
Therefore, although slow pyrolysis is an aspect that may be involved in the carbonization process, the principle of the carbonization machine is not completely equivalent to slow pyrolysis. It is a complex process involving multiple links and parameters.
